Introducing our 2017 cover artist
The Warren 2017 brochure cover was lovingly drawn by Brighton based artist, Ulrika Jarl.
Award winning, Brighton based designer-maker Ulrika Jarl is the star behind our fantastic 2017 brochure artwork for The Warren 2017.
Ulrika has illustrated some of Brighton's most recognisable scenes including Brighton Pier, Queens Park's Pepperpot, the North Laine as well as street scenes around Hanover. Her unique landscape drawings with splashes of vibrant colour, pull you in to delve into the detail and discover more as you look closer.
“I am thrilled to have been picked to create the Warren 2017 brochure cover. It has been such an exciting challenge and the idea grew and changed throughout the whole process, adding more of the acts as the site was coming together.”
In amongst the Main House bowler hat, Woodland Tribe adventure playground and East Coast bar there are some extra surprises hidden on the front cover. Look very closely and you'll discover some of the acts performing at The Warren this year. As well as her intricate line drawings, Ulrika also creates stunning lighting and homeware products that feature her illustrations. Her prints and products will be available for sale at The Warren this year. Ulrika has recently moved into 229 Studio on Brighton seafront. Located in one of the King's Road Arches right by the famous Carousel, she shares the studio with three other artists.
