What is Market Town?

For more information about Market Town and how we can work with you, please Email

Market Town at The Warren will be a vibrant gathering of popup shops situated within the festival site.

We want to bring together a strong community of local makers, designers, charities and business owners to fill Market Town with beautiful and original products.

With its own entrance and custom designed shop fronts Market Town will be a beautiful through-road for customers of The Warren, ensuring that your business gets the visibility and footfall it deserves.

Each custom built stall is a 3m x 3m lockable, watertight wooden structure to provide you with a professional, spacious display area for your products.

The structures will be provided with six focusable spotlights and four 13amp sockets (a total of 3000 Watts per stall) with additional power supplied at an extra cost.

The Warren also has 24 hour security on site for your safety and the protection of your products.

What is The Warren?

A 'festival-within-a-festival', The Warren is a bustling, beautiful, multi-venue site that pops up every May for the duration of the Brighton Fringe.

Located on the grounds of St Peter's Church in the heart of London Road, The Warren 2016 attracted a footfall of over 100,000 people.

In 2017 we expect to welcome even more customers through the gates as we continue to grow the site with our Festival Bar and Rooftop Bar, four theatre spaces and dedicated Family Area.

With kid-friendly events in the mornings, delicious street food at lunch times and a thriving bar in the evenings, not to mention over 777 performances throughout the month, this Fringe Festival will be our biggest and busiest yet!

Want to get involved?

Our aim is to keep The Warren and Market Town vibrant and busy.

If your application for Market Town is successful, we would ask that you keep the stall open for the minimum standard operating hours that we will have in place for Market Town .

This ensures that the vendors work together as a community and that Market Town continues to grow and thrive.

We aim to pull together a diverse but complementary range of businesses, so when submitting your work for approval, please provide sufficient information so that we can get a good understanding of your product.

We know that for some smaller business, stocking and staffing a whole shop for a month might be a challenge, so if you've got a suggestion for a shop share or collaboration, please get in touch!

You can apply with another business in mind, or we could help pair you up with a complementary business also looking to share.
